TOWNS AND SETTLEMENTS IN THE MOOSEHEAD LAKE AREA

Many towns and settlements dot the landscape around Moosehead Lake. Others have been abandoned and survive only in the legend and lore of the area.
This guide is meant to identify the locations of these towns and settlements, and what items of historical interest can be seen at these sites.

South of the lake Greenville, Greenville Junction, Shirley Mills

East of the lake Kokajo (Roach River), Beaver Cove, Folsom Farm, Grant Farm

West of the lake Moosehead, Rockwood, Somerset Junction, 10 Mile, 20 Mile

North of the lake Pittston Farm, Seboomook (North West Carry), Northeast Carry, Chesuncook
