A Timeless Afternoon: The Inaugural Mother’s Day Tea Party at Moosehead Historical Society
May 11, 2024 — The Moosehead Historical Society is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its first-ever Mother’s Day Tea Party. The event, held at the historic Eveleth-Crafts-Sheridan Historical House, was a resounding success, with the weather graciously cooperating to provide a beautiful backdrop for the occasion.
The society was thrilled to welcome 30 multi-generational ladies who embraced the spirit of the event and had a delightful time. The tea party began promptly at 2:00 PM, with dedicated docents and volunteers serving a traditional tea service. The menu included a specially selected tea, accompanied by an assortment of sandwiches, scones, and dessert bites, all meticulously prepared to ensure an authentic and memorable experience.
Adding a touch of elegance and tradition to the event, each guest was treated to a fascinator. The sight of our guests adorned in these charming accessories truly enhanced the atmosphere of the occasion.
