Eveleth-Crafts-Sheridan Historical House

A Victorian home built in the 1890s and preserved with its original furnishings, the Eveleth-Crafts-Sheridan House offers guided tours of one of the region’s finest historic properties. Each room tells the story of the families who lived here and the community they helped shape. Open June through October; admission $12 adults, $10 seniors, free for members.

Lumbermen’s Museum

The Lumbermen’s Museum documents the timber harvesting industry that defined the Moosehead region for generations — from the tools of the trade to life in the logging camps to the dangerous river drives. Hundreds of artifacts bring this history to life. Free for Moosehead Historical Society members.

Center for Moosehead History

Located in the historic Community House in downtown Greenville, the Center for Moosehead History is our main exhibit and program space, open year-round. The recently restored building houses rotating exhibits, a research archive, and our administrative offices — all overlooking Moosehead Lake. Admission by donation.
